"I've learned the phrase, 'less is more' is absolutely true . . . with too much of what you don't need, it's hard to find the things you do!" ~Linda Ellis. I just love this.
Have you taken out time recently to review your activities and develop startegies to 'do more for less', based on what's really important to you with prioritization?
.....But first, you need to a have a Vision of the quality of life you wish to live.
Time to get started!
A man’s true delight is to do the things he was divinely made for.“
Everything— a horse, a vine, a worm, a tree — each is created for some function... For what task, then, were you yourself created?
Do you know your BIG Why?
Now get this: for as long as you haven't got it figured out, you're unlikely to become truly fulfilled.
"The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet. " ~James Oppenheim
Did you know: To be HAPPY is the objective of all other objectives? Does being happy imply you're problem-free?
Not at all.
Do you think that anyone can actually make you happy without your consent? CERTAINLY no! Happiness, therefore, is a CHOICE you can make in an instant. It may not be so obvious to the untrained mind, but think about it.
Hard fact: Nobody was born to make you Happy.

Misery is when wealth makes one Selfish, Lonely, Sick, Obnoxious and Uncaring - and that's not fun. One of the mysteries of life is to sow it all into gaining wealth, only to end up being sad and miserable. This is what happens when we de-emphasise the quality of the BEING.
“Don't just let your business or your job make something FOR you; let it make something OF you.” Whom you are will always be superior to what you possess. Think about it.
Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside of you greater than any Obstacle - Christian D. Larson
This reminds me of my standard formula: Obstacle = Opportunity.
There was a time that all I was seeing were Obstacles. Now all I see are Opportunities. What changed was me and my Beliefs; not the world.
What are you seeing?
"Life in itself is an empty canvas; it becomes whatsoever you paint on it You can paint misery, you can paint bliss. This freedom is your glory." ~Osho
Your life is the sum of all the moments you pass through. You can either be the architect or you end up living other people's dream.
What's your Dream?
What's your Passion?
What's your Purpose?
What's on your canvas?
Life is known to be full of swings. Some days are terrific, others suck. If you've found yourself on a track you didn't quite bargain for lately, here are some words to encourage you.
"A setback is a setup for a comeback." -T.D. Jakes,
How about that?
When you're faced with a heavy burden, not knowing where to turn, you're not alone. That's when we begin to look for a miraculous edge. But how do we activate miracles?
Check this out this formula:
"People who pray for miracles usually don’t get miracles… People who pray for Courage, for Strength to bear the unbearable, for the Grace to remember what they have left instead of what they have lost, very often find their prayers answered…Their prayers helped them tap hidden reserves of Faith and Courage, which were not available to them before" - Harold S. Kushner Rabbi
Courage and Gratitude....a great combination!
It's truly amazing how much we misunderstand others' weakness for strength.
For instance, when someone is full of anger and despair, he holds back and feels the world is against him. In turn, we cast them away, believing they are unworthy and unfriendly. How cruel...?
"If people don't smile at you, be generous and smile first. No man needs a smile more than the one who cannot smile himself" - The Dalai Lama
......that way you become a blessing!
'Brief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad'.
If that's you, I imagine how much hurt and damage may have been done to people and things along the way. It's ultimately not worth it.
So what can you do...? When you're tripped off, somehow, find a way to back off. As the temperature comes down, the risk of explosion reduces.
